How to pronounce Czech words ?

  • stress is on the last syllable,
  • special Czech characters : á = aa (a long), í et ý = ii (i long), ú et ů = ou (ou long), ě = ié, c = ts, č = tch, š = ch, ř = rj, ž = j, ď = die, ť = tie, j = iè, s = ss, ch = ch German (like Bach)
